Best of the Best - Multi Boxer Review

Underwear is one of the most private and personal decisions in menswear because only very few people will see it, yet it is worn every day, all day, right next to the skin. As such, comfort is extremely important in underwear and while many prefer one kind of underwear, it makes more sense to choose the style based on the day’s activity and comfort.
When it comes to choosing underwear and materials, there are a plethora of options on the market today, which makes it difficult to find underwear that is perfect for you without buying one of each kind. Therefore, we dug in and tested many different underwear brands. Here we go...

Fidget Spinner toys and other EDC (every day carry) items are designed to occupy your mind and prevent you from continuing irritating habits. Many people use fidget spinners to help them stop annoying habits. Some habits that people use fidget spinners to stop are: nail biting, smoking, tape rolling, and other habits. Today I review over 10 spinners sent to us by different shops online. Note that they vary greatly in price and i will mostly be reviewing the design and not how much they spin. Enjoy the video!

Kigurumi onesies review part 1

The onesies to rule them all

Let me start by saying that I love reviewing all the products you see on this site, but this one, well this one was a treat. Today we take a look at onesies we received from Kigurumi.ca, a company created and based in Montreal since 2011. But before we begin, let's go over what kigurumi really is. Wikipedia tells us the following: "In English-speaking countries kigurumi are referred to as costumed characters, animal costumes, mascot costumes, or fursuits depending on the context. Fursuits are mascot-style costumes that represent animals and cartoon characters." Got it? Good! Let's begin.

Features

These onesies come in two main categories. We have the animal onesies and we have the character onesies. Most, but not all of them, come in one size fits all. I'm a pretty big guy (6 feet tall) and I am more than comfortable in them so that should in no way deter you from getting one. If you are really worried, some do come in medium (ideal for those who are 4'11" to 5'9" tall) and large sizes (ideal for those who are 5'10" and taller).

The onesies also made in three different fabrics. Fleece (ideal for cold winter nights), terrycloth and pile (both lighter and a bit more breathable). The official site also offers a wash and care guide. Later this fall Kigurumi will also offer onesies for kids.

Style and quality

Two words, top notch! I've worn my fair share of onesies and this one has by far the best quality I've had the chance to wear. From the buttons to the inseam, nothing feels "cheap". As you can see by the pictures I've posted above and below, the onesies are quite stylish. Upon posting pictures of myself on facebook, I quickly made quite a few jealous people. Last but not least, comfort. I swear to god, if wearing onesies was socialy acceptable, I would fill my wardrobe with Kigurumi onesies and wear nothing else. Soft and hanging very loosely, this outfit is great for things such as lounging around the house to eat marshmallows around a campfire.

The bottom line

The bottom line is we all need to be a little more silly in life to really enjoy ourselves and these onesies are a perfect way to start. As a middle school PE teacher, I cannot wait for the next PJ themed day at school! Now If you visit this site often you know that some products have felt our wrath during reviews, but I can't find a single thing I don't like about this one. For that reason, Kigurumi onesies make it into the "Top products" reviewed section of testerbrothers.com

Come back soon for the second part of the review which will be filmed so you can have a better look at all the great features of the Kigurumi onesies!

If you would like to get yourself one, you can view the full selection here.

Do you own Kigurumi onesies? What do you think? Let us know below!

Cookoo Watch Review

Not really going Coo-coo for the Cookoo watch

There has been a big buzz around smart watches lately, and for that reason I decided to review the COOKOO Bluetooth watch. The name says it all, it’s a watch that has the capacity to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices (in my case an iPhone) and alert you in certain situations. I've used it for about a week, while at work, and it felt like this watch could have been so much more than it is. Being a watch and technology fanatic I was looking forward to using it, but all it did was leave me disappointed. Here’s why:

Features

First of all, the COOKOO watch has a lot of features, just not the right ones. It has the ability to:  show that you have a reminder, an alarm, a text, an email, a phone call or that it’s time to charge your phone. What it can’t do is show you what the reminder, the text or the email actually is. As a person who works in an environment where I can’t always be near my phone, I find it extremely frustrating knowing that I have received a text but can’t see it.

Also, I should add that setting up your watch isn't easy. Even though it has an app and a pamphlet to guide you while you set it up and customize the buttons, it took a lot of time to understand how to make it work. Once you get the hang of it and are able to customize each buttons, some functions can be very useful. For example, the find your phone function probably saved me a couple of minutes of looking for my phone. The “take a picture function” made it easier for group photos and the music control is not too bad.

Style and performance

Like I said earlier I am a watch fanatic. That being said, I would not buy the COOKOO watch based on its looks; it is too minimalist for me. But tastes being something different for everyone, I won’t get into the aesthetics. The materials they used to make the strap and watch both feel and look durable. The strap is comfortable and very adjustable. For obvious, reasons the watch is not waterproof.

As for performance, it had its connectivity issues. Half of the time I spent using the watch it wasn't connected to my device. The beautiful thing about smart watches is that when you lose connectivity with your device, you can still use it as a watch. As for the battery life, it is claimed to last up to a full year and also comes with a replacement battery.

The bottom line

At 129$ USD, I would not recommend buying a COOKOO smartwatch , at least not before they fix connectivity issues and add full text display.

But if you still want to try it out, it can be found here
